SaaS SEO basics

The fundamentals.

What is SaaS SEO?
SaaS SEO is search optimization for software companies that turns organic and AI-search visibility into trials, demos, product-qualified leads and recurring revenue rather than traffic volume. It covers technical work for JavaScript-heavy applications, bottom-of-funnel commercial pages, product-led content, authority building and AI citation visibility.
How is SaaS SEO different from regular SEO?
The conversion event is a trial or demo rather than a purchase, the buying cycle is longer and involves a committee, comparison and alternative pages outperform blog content, and success is measured in MRR, ARR and CAC payback. SaaS sites also carry JavaScript rendering and indexation problems most websites never face.
How long does SaaS SEO take to work?
Technical fixes move indexation within days. Bottom-of-funnel pages typically rank in four to eight weeks. Trials follow two to six weeks after that. Pipeline attribution needs a full sales cycle on top, so plan on four to six months before revenue reporting is meaningful, and twelve before judging the channel.
Is SaaS SEO still worth it in 2026?
Yes, but the shape changed. Google still sends most high-intent traffic and organic acquisition costs materially less than paid over time. What changed is that buyers now shortlist inside AI answers, so a modern program has to earn citations in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews alongside classic rankings.
02

Pricing and contracts

What it costs and on what terms.

How much does SaaS SEO cost?
US retainers run $3,000–$5,000/month for starter programs, $5,000–$10,000 for growth, and $10,000–$25,000+ for enterprise scope. We start at $5,000/month, with most full-service engagements between $10,000 and $15,000.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. Month to month, no annual lock-in and no setup fees. If the work produces you will not want to leave, and if it does not you should be able to.
What is included in the retainer?
Strategy, technical audit and implementation guidance, content briefs and production, earned link acquisition, AI-search measurement across seven engines, conversion work on the pages we ship, and reporting wired to your CRM. Content is included rather than billed separately.
Why is there a $5,000 minimum?
Arithmetic. Below roughly $3,000–$5,000, after overhead there is not enough qualified time for technical work, links and senior strategy, you get publishing volume instead. We would rather decline than take money for a program we know will underperform.
03

Working together

Process, people and what we need from you.

Why do you require an application?
Senior operators run every campaign, which does not scale to hundreds of accounts. A short roster keeps the work at case-study quality. Roughly half our conversations end with us saying we are not the right partner.
Who will I work with day to day?
Mohammad leads every campaign and is on every call. Specialists handle technical implementation, content and outreach, but the person planning your strategy is the person running it.
Do you work with US companies from India?
Yes. Most clients are in the US, UK and Canada. Work is asynchronous with calls in your timezone, which in practice means progress happens overnight relative to a US team.
What do you need from us?
Access to sales-call recordings or your sales team, someone who can approve technical changes to the site, and content review turnaround under a week. Engagements stall on the second one more than anything else.

04

Services and scope

What we run and who we run it for.

Do you only work with SaaS companies?
SaaS is the focus. We also take high-ticket B2B where the economics match, long cycles, high lifetime value, a researching buyer. If you are unsure whether you fit, apply and we will tell you honestly.
Do you work with early-stage or pre-PMF SaaS?
We work best with companies already in market with some traction, because SEO compounds and needs a runway. If you are pre-launch, our AI-SEO scaffolding engagement fits better than a full retainer.
Can you work alongside our in-house team?
Yes, and it usually works better. The strongest setup is an in-house owner holding product context with us executing technical work, links and page production.
Do you offer consulting rather than full execution?
Yes. For teams with a capable marketer who needs the audit, strategy and roadmap rather than the hands. It costs less because you execute.
05

AI search

Getting named inside AI answers.

What is GEO and do you do it?
Generative engine optimization gets your product named inside AI answers. We run it as a core part of every program rather than an add-on, and we measure it as citation share across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Grok and Bing.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?
No, and nobody can. What we can do is get your product into the sources models retrieve from, structure your pages to be quotable, and measure citation share over time so movement is provable rather than asserted.
Does AI search replace Google SEO?
No. Google still sends the majority of high-intent traffic, and the pages that rank well are frequently the same ones models retrieve. The work overlaps substantially, which is why we run them as one program.
06

Results and reporting

What you can expect to see, and when.

What results can we realistically expect?
It depends on your category, domain history and technical starting point, and any agency giving you a number before looking at your site is guessing. What we will do is tell you what we think is realistic during the diagnostic, along with what would have to be true for it to fail. Broadly: technical wins in weeks, bottom-funnel rankings in one to two months, trials following shortly after, and meaningful pipeline attribution at four to six months.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No. Nobody controls Google, and an agency guaranteeing positions is either targeting keywords nobody searches or preparing an excuse. We commit to shipping the agreed work on schedule and telling you early when something is not moving.
How do you report progress?
A continuously updated dashboard plus a monthly strategy call. The headline numbers are trials and demos from organic, PQLs and SQLs, pipeline influenced, CAC payback against paid, and AI citation share across seven engines. Rankings and sessions sit in the appendix.
What happens if it is not working?
We tell you at the point we know rather than at renewal, with a revised view of timeline and cost. You can continue, narrow the scope, or stop. There is no lock-in precisely so that conversation stays honest on both sides.
Can we pause the engagement?
Yes, with thirty days' notice. Worth knowing that SEO compounds, so a three-month pause costs more than three months of progress, rankings decay and competitors keep publishing. We will be straight with you about that trade-off rather than just processing the request.
