How we work
Four phases, a week-by-week breakdown of the first ninety days, and the three things we need from you. Roughly half our conversations end with us saying we are not the right partner, that is the filter working.

How the engagement works
Four phases: you apply, we run a two-week diagnostic, we ship a 90-day foundation sprint, then the program compounds. Senior operators run every campaign, which is why the roster is short and why there is an application at all.
Roughly half our conversations end with us saying we are not the right partner. That is the filter working, not a sales technique. The clients who do fit tend to stay: several of the reviews on this site are from people four years in.
Four phases
What happens, when, and what you get at the end of each.
Apply
Tell us the product, the category and who you lose deals to. We look at your site before replying, so the first call starts with observations rather than discovery questions. We reply within 24 hours, including when the answer is no.
Diagnostic
Two weeks. Technical audit against rendered HTML, intent mapping built from your sales-call recordings, competitive gap analysis, and an AI citation baseline across seven engines recorded before we change anything.
Foundation sprint
Ninety days. Fix what blocks indexation, ship the first bottom-of-funnel pages, instrument reporting to your CRM, and start earned authority work. The goal is early trials, not a finished program.
The first 90 days, week by week
So you can hold us to it, and so you can compare this against what other agencies promise.
Rankings on a date. Nobody controls Google, and an agency guaranteeing positions is either choosing keywords nobody searches or preparing an excuse. What we do commit to is shipping the work on schedule and telling you early when something is not moving.
| Phase | How long | What happens | What you have at the end |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Apply | Reply within 24 hours | You tell us the product, the category and who you lose deals to. We look at your site before replying. | A written answer either way, including when it is no. |
| 2. Diagnostic | 2 weeks | Technical audit against rendered HTML, intent mapping built from your sales-call recordings, competitive gap analysis, AI citation baseline across seven engines. | A baseline recorded before anything changes, so later movement is measurable. |
| 3. Foundation sprint | 90 days | Fix what blocks indexation, ship the first bottom-of-funnel pages, instrument reporting to your CRM, begin earned authority work. | Early trials rather than a finished program. |
| 4. Compounding | Ongoing, month to month | Page production, digital PR, GEO placement and monthly reporting on trials, pipeline and citation share. | A compounding program with no lock-in. |
What we need from you
- Access to sales conversations. Recordings, or an hour with your sales team. The best keyword research comes from here, not from tools.
- Someone who can approve technical changes. The most common cause of a stalled program is fixes sitting in a backlog for a quarter.
- A review turnaround under a week. Content that waits three weeks for approval kills the velocity that makes SEO compound.
What you get from us
- A senior operator on every call. The person who plans it runs it.
- Reporting on trials, demos and pipeline. Not sessions, not impressions.
- Citation share across seven AI engines, benchmarked against your named competitors.
- An honest read when something is not working, early rather than at renewal.
- No lock-in. Month to month, because confidence should not need a contract.
What goes wrong, and what we do about it
Every engagement hits friction. Publishing the common failure modes in advance is more useful than pretending they do not happen.
Technical fixes sit in a backlog
The most common cause of a stalled program. We deliver a prioritized list, it goes into your sprint planning, and it competes against product work that has a louder advocate. Our mitigation is to rank fixes by revenue impact and estimated effort, so the cheap high-value ones can be picked up without a planning debate. When it still stalls, we say so on the monthly call rather than quietly working around it.
Content review takes three weeks
Velocity is most of what makes SEO compound, and a slow review loop halves it. We agree a turnaround at kickoff and send content in small batches rather than monthly dumps, which is easier to review and easier to keep moving.
The category is harder than estimated
Sometimes the competitive gap turns out larger than the initial analysis suggested. When that happens we tell you at the point we know, usually month three, with a revised view of the timeline and cost. You can then decide whether to continue, narrow the scope, or stop. We would rather lose the retainer than spend your money against a target we no longer believe in.
Results arrive before attribution does
Frequently the work is producing and the reporting cannot prove it, because CRM fields were never populated. This is why attribution setup happens in the first ninety days rather than when someone asks for ROI in month six.
How we communicate
Predictable rather than constant. You should never wonder what is happening.
